Going to prison is a worst case scenario for most of us, but going to prison in North Korea is something else entirely. From their reeducation centers to their prison camps, very few people make it out alive, and those that do are forever scarred by their experiences. We’ll let you in on some of the shocking and disturbing secrets about what goes on in there. Hyeon Soo Lim is a Canadian pastor who managed to be set free after losing a third of his body weight in a labor camp, and experts say that his experience was even easier than most. Otto Warmbier was an American student punished for stealing a sign in Pyongyang, and he never recovered from the traumatic injuries he sustained while in the camp. Things are so bad, that many people believe that Kim Jong-un should be tried for crimes against humanity because of the prison camps.
