The "focused mode" and the "diffused mode" do not necessarily correlate to a "right side", or a "left side" of the brain, because the brain doesn't actually work in different sides in that way.

This is written from my perspective on learning things based on my experiences with drawing and painting, but for research purposes I studied the work of Barbara Oakley to see where I was wrong, or where things could be explained in a better way.
The parts that are more neurological are inspired by her work.
