Director Denis Villeneuve joined DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis to talk about his upcoming film, Blade Runner 2049 - the long-awaited follow up to Ridley Scott's classic 1982 film, Blade Runner. Blade Runner 2049 is in theatres on 6 Oct.

Blade Runner 2049 is a stunning epic action film and a sequel to 1982’s Blade Runner. A profound and dangerous discovery threatens to blur the line separating humans from machines forever. Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve. Also starring Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Ana De Armas, Mackenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri and Lennie James.
